Expired Executives Breakfast at SLAS Conference

The breakfast presents a great opportunity to meet and network with other senior executives from our members and invited guests attending the SLAS Conference and Show.

The February 5 breakfast will feature a guest speaker—Dr. Sam Michael, PhD, Director, Automation and Compound Management at NCATS (National Center for Advancing Translational Science) at NIH.

As an Automation and Compound Management Director, Dr. Michael is responsible for the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of a full range of laboratory instrumentation and processes. These automation engineers and machinists support NCATS activities in high-throughput screening and assay development and optimization.

We expect Dr. Michael to focus his remarks on what is happening at NIH/NCATS, its work and some of the initiatives being undertaken or planned, and what our industry can do to assist NCATS’ efforts.
