Closing Keynote: A Conversation with Michael Lewis: A Pandemic Story
Presented by:
- Michael Lewis, best-selling author of modernclassics including “Moneyball”, “The Blind Side”, “The Big Short”, “Liar’s Poker” and the upcoming “The Premonition: A Pandemic Story” coming out May 4. (Conference attendees will receive a copy of the book prior to the session.)
A summary of Lewis’ forthcoming best-seller:
“The news out of China was not good: there were signs that a new disease might be big—scary big, like a brushfire coming at you uphill. Authorities, medical and political, saw no reason to worry and little need for tests. Michael Lewis’s riveting nonfiction thriller pits a rogue band of visionaries, working under the radar, against the weight and disinterest of officialdom. It is a race against time, and the deadline is now … or yesterday.”
Join us, read your complimentary copy of the book, and ask questions of this dynamic author at the ALDA Senior Executive Conference.
**All individuals who register for this session will receive an email from ALDA in early April requesting a preferred mailing address for the book, however there is a limit of 150 total books, and we will distribute them to the first 150 responses we receive.
**Registration is open! Attendance at this and other ALDA virtual events is complimentary to ALDA members. Contact Carol Starke (cstarke@thealda.org) for membership and/or registration information.
